Uh, we're just gonna talk about everything that we're watching this week. That's right.

SPEAKER_04:

There's a lot going on on entertainment right now. In the transition to Christmassy, I feel like it's a good transition in the middle of good stuff coming out, you know?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I think the fall is always like it's always a setup for what's next. Oh, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, they're setting up next year, but it's uh good stuff that the Christmas movies and stuff.

SPEAKER_03:

It's the end of summer. Setup for what's next. Dun dun dun dun dun dun 2026. A setup.

SPEAKER_04:

Speaking of setups, this is how we drift into it.

SPEAKER_03:

I like it, I like it, I like it.

SPEAKER_04:

Doom doom doom doom doom. All right, okay, go for it. Peacemakers.

SPEAKER_03:

Peacemaker, yeah. I thought it was your setup. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_04:

This is how we set up. Which is pretty much the whole show about uh Peacemaker, this whole second season. It's uh man, I can just spoil it for you because you haven't seen it, have you, Mark? No, man, it lightened me. Okay, bro, it's just a setup about like the repercussion.

SPEAKER_03:

By the way, spoilers for our viewers. Spoilers. Spoilers for spoilers for everybody else.

SPEAKER_02:

I know Nazis and an alternate world. Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_04:

It's pretty much a Peacemaker's character development season. Okay. Where he reconciles uh, like, you know, I kill brutally people that I shouldn't, like Rick Fly was his name.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, like from the Suicide Squad movie, and like season one, his brother. Yeah, you know who also got a lot of character development, and like she had her own, like literally, she had her own plot line, the blue bag that you see it all the way through. Amelia Harcourt. The blonde chick? The blonde chick. The love interest, yes. The love interest, but she's she's way more than a love interest. She gets her whole plot line and emotional growth. She's really fucked up. You know, there's a lot of just like Peacemaker? There's all these scenes, like all these characters in in the series are fucked up. Everybody in the group is fucked up in their own ways, but Harcourt is fucked up in her own ways, and you see growth and the way she plays it, like she has this scene with John Cena, or with John Cena, with Peacemaker. She has this scene where she goes and gets him from Earth X, which is Nazi Earth, and she's like, Peacemaker is like, Well, you know, what did it mean to you? You know, tell me what you what you what you feel, and she's like, you know, she has nothing to give, but she's like, Are you coming back or not? Yeah. Damn. And it's like that nuance, like, you know, I can't I can't give you what you want, but you know, I still want you to come back with me.

SPEAKER_02:

Um, that's a heavy hitting little line, like plot line that she's got.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I wish I knew exactly what she said. You gotta watch that scene. I mean, anybody that's watching knows the scene. Go support it. And uh James Gunn actually breaks it down in one of the interviews. It's like that's one of her favor his favorite scenes because that's his wife. And that's James Gunn's wife. That's right. Yeah, the the blonde actress.

SPEAKER_04:

His actual James Gunn's actual wife?

SPEAKER_03:

IRL, right? I can't believe we forgot her name. Yes. That's that's James Gunn's wife, his actual current wife. My boy. Yes. So if you were dropping the notes here, bro, don't worry about it. Right?

SPEAKER_00:

No.

SPEAKER_03:

But uh he breaks it down. That's one of the things, like he loved the way she played that, and then they were able to get that emotional, like, uh level depth, that emotional depth out of the scene. And again, keep in mind we're talking about you know a comic book show. So uh comic book shows have really like come a long way, you know. The penguin won an Emmy. Bro. Or not the penguin, uh what's her name? She won the Emmy, Christina Miliati. Oh, yeah, she sure did, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

For best supporting female actress.

SPEAKER_03:

Leading actress. Leading actress, I apologize. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Best lead actress in a drama, or I don't know what the category is, but she won the Emmy for that for the penguin.

SPEAKER_02:

I mean, it there's the penguin, what b uh The Joker won an Yeah, yeah. And so the Dark Knights. I mean, comic book movies have a rep specifically DC. Like, they have had good weight behind them as far as their acting skills have gone.

SPEAKER_03:

I think so, yeah. Specifically DC, like presents a better, like storyline. They've won awards.

SPEAKER_02:

Like, granted, you've been nominated, sure, for like music and aspects and stuff like that in an Avengers movie, you know, which is great. Nobody's knocking that, but like for the acting skills themselves and for the story, you're like, damn, this was so good and so believable. I mean, I love RDJ, but And this was the follow-up after Superman.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh you did have to watch Superman to better understand Peacemaker Season 2 because of all the Superman connections.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, absolutely. One of the things that, you know, recircling back to the Emmy thing, like I wouldn't be surprised if John Cena won one.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, you guys said that there was a really emotional scene that he delivered in, right?

SPEAKER_04:

It was like that is John Cena's like the actor The Rock thinks he is, like dramatic-wise. Like, I know he thinks you know what I'm saying, because it's specifically tying it back to season one.

SPEAKER_02:

Not wrong.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh, whenever in the season one they show that he has his little brother and he kills him, and in this season, tying it back to Superman, uh, Peacemaker like kind of uses his multidimensional doorway that he has that you know they or they explain how he got it to go into a dimension where his brother is alive and his dad is is kind of not a Nazi, like a comprehensive, understandable kind of man. And him seeing that kind of fuck with his head, you know, that it was like perfect, but really not perfect, because it's a Nazi world. Yeah, he's like, Wow, it's the life I've always wanted. It's for the brothers here.

SPEAKER_03:

It's funny when they call him out, he's like, This is your perfect world. He's like, You didn't notice all the main camp on the death? But because he was so focused with comfort.

SPEAKER_04:

I understand that because like it wasn't that, it's like it wasn't the world, the world was his brother and his dad. That's his world. So it was like, yes, it was a perfect world because his brothers are like the rule of Hitler on the wall. He was so locked because they would like work out in adventures together, like a kaiju would attack, and then them three will like they don't show the fight, that's the thing, you know. But they they will three yes, budget for sure. Budget for sure. Yeah, uh they would like go the same and they come back and they're all eating burgers, all slimed out, like they know if it's always perfect for him. So that's cool. But when they rescue Peacemaker from this world, you know, they started beating the shit out of his brother, right? Because this brother finds out it's not really his brother, it's peacemaker from another dimension.

SPEAKER_03:

And that he killed his actual brother. Yeah, is that really what happened?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And then how did he kill him? Oh, well, the peacemaker from Earth Egg before we get there, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So the whole point is like the being the shed, the brother, right? So he starts reconciling like him killing his brother. He's like, Stop, stop. This is like a traumatic event for Peacemaker because he has that growth where he realized that every time he feels like he's cursed, every time he's in the in a high situation, people die. You know, Rick is an example that dimension version of Peacemaker, you know, he killed him, and he'll he'll explain in a minute how he did it. So he's like starts to reconcile, like, man, you I'm the problem here. Like, there's always violence around, which is a complete 360 for Peacemaker for me. But I love it because it James Gunn is a fantastic director showing like character growth, you know. And for Peacemaker in season two, that that was like pretty much the the highlight of Peacemaker growth, not only as a brother, but as you know, a lover too, with Amelia Hardcore, the character, as well, being understandable. This girl's complex, just like he's complex, so he's gotta understand he's a complex relationship. You know, it's not black and white, you know. You gotta understand the kind of girl you're dating. So it realizes that I'm fucked up, you're fucked up, and this relationship is fucked up, but that's how it's supposed to kind of work. That's how it works. Yes, but and then she's kind of like telling her, like, like she can't tell you I love you because that's not the relationship we have, you know. But we'll get in a gunfight together, and that's so you know. Like I'll I'll take a fucking bullet. Yeah, yeah, but you won't I you won't see me here, I'll I I'll lose a limb, and that's me showing you I love you. My actions, yeah. Yes, yes. That's the kind of girl Harkour is.

SPEAKER_03:

You find out that uh Harkour had a thing with Rick Flag, even though Rick Flag was with Enchantress at the time. Yes, uh, but you find out that they were fucking and they were like childhood friends. So she actually hated Peacemaker because he wasn't one that killed Rick Flagg. So that was there's a bunch of levels that they added.

SPEAKER_04:

But she understands that she was following the orders of Wallace.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, Waller. Yeah, Waller. She understands, yeah. Like, because she's also done all these fucked up things following orders.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, and Rick Rick saw the report, it was Waller who commanded it. So he just hated him, they could pull the trigger, but she I still think that he's she's under Argus' thumb. Like, he's still like, oh fuck, Waller, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, we don't see much of Waller in Peacemaker season two. She's a movie-level actress. Yeah, 100%. The fact that she's even in it. But I think she's gonna I think she's gonna come back as a main character. What's her name? Main actress? I forgot her. She's high level. Speaking of uh movie level, like I I think this is a setup for the Man of Tomorrow sequel. James Gunn like setting up the storyline. Some people were theorizing that the next big bad would be uh Rick Flack Sr. You know? Like he's the one that's gonna be moving between the scenes as uh as the bad character. Wow, as the character that Superman's gonna have to stop next. Nice. That's not crazy. He set up Planet Salvation, which is a priest in planet.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, yeah, tell me gotta give the ending because the way you guys saw it was pretty cool. Oh, wait, wait, wait.

SPEAKER_04:

How does it Peacemaker kill the other Peacemaker in that thing is like hilarious? So they like the dad watch it. The dad are the dad go hunting one day and they find an alien that just crash landing, right? The dad is like, oh fuck, you just shoot it because you know a redneck in this in this universe, right? And when they shoot it, they take up his little device, and that device was like when you put it next to a door, it like opens portals.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yeah, bring the portal to that dimension. It's got 99 doors. They do mention that at one point, and every door is a different dimension.

SPEAKER_04:

And in that dimension, when he got there, when he got at the Peacemaker's dimension, Peacemaker just happened to get back from a mission, and Peacemaker wasn't even hearing it. He was just, I don't give a fuck. Da that just shooting him. Yeah, he was like, Who the fuck is he? He's like, bro, hold on, wasn't listening. He just wasn't having it and just really went after him. He said, Fuck it. Pressed a button, and this rocket ship made him go up, stabbed him against a fucking metal thing. Yeah. That's hilarious. Yeah. He was like, oh fuck. He's like panicking, like, what the fuck just happened?

SPEAKER_03:

I just killed myself. That's fucking crazy. Don't think about it, Rick. Don't think about it. Don't think about it, Rick. Yeah. That's fucking crazy. It's so funny that they chose to do the Earth X thing. Because there's so many ways to go with like a Nazi Earth, you know? Oh, yeah. 100%. So I think also, did the brother survive after all? You see him reading towards the end.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, yeah, he survived because the girlfriend was gonna shoot him in the face. Like, yo, I can't have you following us. So she was about to cap him, but police shows up.

SPEAKER_03:

Police shows up. Yeah, yeah. So I think the brother surviving is maybe a setup for like he's gonna eventually want revenge. Yeah. So he could get a couple of heroes from Earth X and somehow uh come to the you know to the RGR.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm thinking Evil Justice League, bro. You can always do it.

SPEAKER_03:

Or like Superman in Earth X is Overlord. Oh, yeah, right. Yeah, or it's like Ultra Man.

SPEAKER_04:

That will be a cool setup. Batman versus Owl Man? Yeah, shit like that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, well, that's another one that's another Earth, I think in Earth X. Man, I forget the name. We're thinking about the animated one.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, anyway, so Rick acquires the device, right? And then one day he just narco kidnaps fucking Peacemaker, and he says, like, thanks for volunteering. He's like, I didn't volunteer. Now what this paper says.

SPEAKER_02:

You say Rick Flag seen is a senior. Okay, senior. Sorry, I was trying to understand.

SPEAKER_04:

And he throws him against the world, and then like he's in like in the jungle-esque area, which is the god area, the god playground they call it. It's like old gods, like the old gods, the one that uh what's his name with the Omega sign? What's his face? You with the yeah, upside down. Oh, dark side. Well, dark side typically will go train per se. This is a kind of crazy ass personal.

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know if that's the where they're gonna take it, but that's it. That's the or the origin of salvation in the comic books. Yeah. Like they send they send Lex Luther, they send the Joker, they send all the billions there. But that's yeah, that's what it's crazy. And it turns out to be is a dark side training ground for the parademons. You know the parademons in that movie Superman too?

SPEAKER_01:

Whoa.

SPEAKER_03:

From that storyline, it's a it's a training ground for parademons. So they you know, the billions end up like going, you know, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

And they so that's their Super Saiyan arc? They just spent like the hyperbolic time chamber, they spent two years there.

SPEAKER_04:

Well, I don't know what the comics are, but I know they send them there just to like because they're in trouble, you know, like you're in jail. Yeah, but I can't raise a plan.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, they just don't know what that planet ended up being.

SPEAKER_04:

You just gotta trust the gun, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, trust the gun. And I think the thing about James Gunn is that he also takes a lot of concepts from the comic books and he makes them like his own, you know. He he doesn't really he doesn't always stick to the to the source material. Yeah, no, I like that. So I do like that he puts like his very own spin into a lot of it. In a good way. Like we're not talking about, you know, some of the stuff Marvel has done. Like James Gunn actually puts a cool spin into some of that stuff. Oh, like Superman's parents. Like Superman's krypton parents telling him to take over Earth. It's a very like different take from you know the comic book take.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

That's very, very true. You guys know what I'm talking about? Yeah, yeah. On the movie?

SPEAKER_04:

Have a harem.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, have a heron, have a harem. But uh, but yeah, I think uh it's all set up for the next movie for what's next in the DC uh you, so we'll see.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm excited because again, they I think he says why not? Instead of it can't, I think he says why not. More over James Gunn kind of thing, you know?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, oh seeing Lex Luther in Peacemaker was weird was great. Yeah, he was there.

SPEAKER_04:

He was the one advocating for the pr which actually Superman's concept of like uh Lex one in a prison. Saying all the meta humans. Settlement haters there because he's just mean, just a Division I hater.

SPEAKER_03:

Division I hater. Division one hater.

SPEAKER_04:

I imagine a lot of similarities with other kind of comic book sources.

SPEAKER_03:

Like This is your segue. Yeah, so the segue, I believe, is for Softpass.

SPEAKER_01:

Soft pass.

SPEAKER_02:

Gen V, man. Gen V for me has been a good series so far for Amazon Prime. Season two has recently dropped on it. There are six episodes in right now. I don't, I'm assuming eight or ten out of the entire season.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I think there's three more episodes left. Yeah. So we're we're about halfway, more than halfway through a season. Yeah, and it's I love that they dropped three episodes the first time. Yeah. A lot of ass stuff in the first three episodes. But other than that, other than that, it's great. There's that one student that has a singularity in his butthole. Yeah, for like literally, why did we hear why is he a hero, bro? He basically has a dark hole in his butthole.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, like his he's an infinite gaping ass. But anyway. Um, the story itself. Yeah, yeah. But that's the first three episodes. Overlooking that, the story itself, as far as like progressive.

SPEAKER_04:

There's a guy like that in X-Men, I think. With the universe in his asshole.

SPEAKER_02:

Anyway, no, the uh the show itself is actually a progressive story for the boys, in my opinion, a lot.

SPEAKER_03:

I like how connected it is to the boys.

SPEAKER_02:

Now the fact that they're dropping, bro, spoiler obviously for this entire season, but they got homeboy, uh, give me the tour. No, no, no, what the hell was his name? John Carlos Esposito came back?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. I did not see that coming. That was out of left- I was like, yo, are you fucked up? This guy's still like, oh, that's great. I forgot he was still alive. I thought they had killed him off at some point.

SPEAKER_02:

When they brought back the daughter, her daughter is a teenager now, and I was like, Oh, the daughter's power of having like Medusa mouth, yeah. He looks like his mother, I'm telling you.

SPEAKER_03:

But anyway, it's great. Somebody's face off. There you go.

SPEAKER_02:

Anyway, great freaking series so far. The fact that uh the main character Marie is like God tier level power now.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, the way they yeah, they introduced him to Thomas Godolkin, like he created the soups. I can't remember he was he was also a Nazi because I think everybody that that started Bot were Nazis. Yeah, like in the 1930s or whatever, at least whenever they were there. Yeah, man, it was insane. Connections are interesting because they're saying that Marie could be just as powerful as Homelander.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so uh there was a Project Odessa that took place, like dozens of children were killed in the process. They were all basically being shot up with V at the embryo stage, and the only children to actually ever be able to successfully carry through the process. One is Homelander, and the second is this girl, Marie. And that's why it's like shit, and Homelander's Superman in this universe, right? So it's like if there is a power, what could rival if not supersede that? Because that's what they keep telling. It's like you could be the most powerful soup ever. What's her power? So she can She's a bloodbender.

SPEAKER_03:

She's a bloodbender. But uh it evolved to so much more than that.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, now she's able, like, he's basically and it's interesting because the way the guy trains her, and he trains everybody, he tells him he's like, and the way he speaks about powers is like he knows so much about them. You know what I'm saying? And it's because well, our theory is this the the body that we end up seeing inside this iron line. Yeah, originally the audience is led to believe that it's uh Cypher's grandfather. Come to find out that it's not even the grandfather, it's the original creator of God You, the university, that all the soups go to. And apparently his body was burnt up. He got burnt up and caught in an explosion or something like that in the 1980s, and he's been considered dead ever since then. There's a moment where Marie scans Cypher's body and she doesn't see any V in his system. The V obviously would indicate his powers. She's like, he doesn't have any powers. That's the big gimmick about him. That's what we're again, the audience is led to believe. There's a moment where what's the partner's name? I can't Cypher or Marie's partner. Oh Jordan. Jordan. Jordan uh ends up being taken over by Cypher, like 100%. There's a moment where Marie can almost explode him because she can like she ends up attaching to every single cell in his body.

SPEAKER_03:

And it was unbelievable. Sometimes it's interesting that where they break down how powers can evolve in a certain way in advance, yes, exactly. Like she's not she's not thinking about what she could do with her power. It's like, yeah, she could control blood. But controlling blood could lead to so much more than that.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, what more? I mean, if you okay, but that's a cellular level kind of thing, you know what I'm saying? So what else can you fix? What else can you manipulate? It's just blood to you right now, but everything has blood inside of it. Is it anything with the liquid? Is it anything with the heartbeat? What do you feel? And that's when she starts connecting, like literally, bro, like blood bending, like I can feel it. You know what I'm saying? Like dead ass. There's even the moment where she's like, he's like, put the fucking hand down. It doesn't do anything, stupid.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and she's like, he's like feeling because that's uh that's such a thing from all like superhero shows. Every superhero show, yeah. Like the struggling with the handle if it's a mind ability, you shouldn't. I mean, the hand doesn't shouldn't do any fucking thing.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and they even talk about self-harm, believe it or not, in this one. When homegirl's uh bulimic and she thinks it's only she only does it because of her powers.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, that's been her thing the whole time.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, well, you're under the impression that it's only because of her power, then she finds out. She's like, I actually do have a problem. She's like, I there's a moment now where I don't want to stop and all I want to do is throw up and I can't. And she's like, Oh shit, there is something wrong with me. And then the way, same way Marie uses her powers, she doesn't have to cut her hand open with a with a pocket knife every time, but she chooses to. And that's what he tells her. He's just like self-mutilation is one way to express anger and frustration or whatever. He's like, But you don't have to use that in order to access your powers. It's interesting, bro. Like the way, like he said, like they pushes it. Yeah, it's it's a really, really cool aspect.

SPEAKER_04:

But anyway, I guess you're like an Akita style level. She just walks into the room, like in the hallway, and just Yes, yes, 100%.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. So that's basically what they're trying to push her as. But when Cypher takes over Jordan's body, he's just like, he's just another meat puppet. And so that's where it connects back to that's where okay.

SPEAKER_03:

The theory, my theory is yes, go for it. Like Cypher, it's not like that's not Cypher. Like, well, we we at this point think like the man in the hyperotic chamber is Thomas Godolkin. So Thomas Godolkin is actually taking over this body and calls himself Cypher.

SPEAKER_02:

Correct.

SPEAKER_03:

And that's why there's no B, there's no B compound in this body. Because he's already taken over him.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, he's just a regular human, he's just a regular human.

SPEAKER_03:

So he can hop from host to host. Yeah. And he talks about how Jordan feels like a glove. Maybe he's grooming him to be his next host. His next puppet.

SPEAKER_02:

And because his like his physical that because the male version of him is invulnerable. He's he's Superman damn near. He has super strength and invulnerability. But yet when he goes to the female side, he has like the telekinetic powers or whatever.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

And really cool abilities, don't get me wrong. But yeah, if he got that shit, he'd be next level. But now the question is because there's a moment where Marie's uh she has a sister, right? That she's been trying to get a hold of the entire season. She ends up uh being found and Cypher slips her throat. She dies, bro. She runs into the room to try to save her. She's already spilt out. Like, we don't even know how long she's been dead for at this point. But because in that moment of pressure, she rises to the occasion and she ends up sealing the wound on her sister's neck and somehow absorbs the life force of everyone around her because they all start freaking out. Like I'm assuming, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

That's interesting.

SPEAKER_02:

They almost had my like their brain, they almost had like aneurysms, dog.

SPEAKER_03:

They all start bleeding.

SPEAKER_02:

Everybody starts bleeding. It was and sync. Everybody's like, they're like, what the fuck? Like, Marie, stop. Stop.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, they're in pain, bro. They're in agony. And then boom, she comes back. Yeah, because you did see like a you did see like a light over her face, over the dead sister's face. You see like a light going like Yeah, bro. So like life force regenerator or something. So now she's like, I didn't think about that. I was like, why is she like hurting everybody else to bring her back?

SPEAKER_02:

Remember, she could feel it. And that's when he's like, she's like, it was so easy.

SPEAKER_03:

And I was like, oh, that's scary, bro. But yeah, no, so she's gone, she's gotten full Qatara in the last third. Yeah, bro. So she's locked in 100%. Now it's like if you get that reference, if you know, you know.

SPEAKER_02:

But now the thing is, okay, but Cypher's character has been basically saying, like, oh, his love interest, the smart chick from uh the boys.

SPEAKER_03:

It was also surprising seeing her back.

SPEAKER_02:

She makes it in the you know, like the genius from the boys or whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

The one that would like give herself lobotomies to fuck uh to fuck the fish boy, uh the deep, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Her. So she makes an appearance, she's fucking Cypher, right? But there's a moment where she's fucking him, but she looks at the body, the burnt body of the what we think is uh the God you guy, or Mr. Godokin, uh whatever, and Thomas Godokin. And it's weird, bro. We're like, what the fuck? And that's where it kind of connects.

SPEAKER_03:

The voice is just a weird shout.

SPEAKER_02:

It's a weird ass show, but she's like, she's basically showing that I'm into you. Like, this is just the body, obviously, for us to make this work, but blah, blah, blah. And she tells him, she's like, You're running out of time. And he's like, Don't worry about it, I got this. And he injures himself throughout the process, and there's no healing factor in it. Like, it just goes to confirm that he doesn't really have a super, that this is just a host, more or less for him. And but yeah, this this most recent episode ends up.

SPEAKER_03:

So we gotta we gotta find out, we gotta find out because yeah, what's gonna happen next on it?

SPEAKER_02:

But it's gonna be. And I think it's to continue her training. It's just to keep it pushing to see what else she can do now, bro. Yeah. Because ultimately, I think that he wants to heal his body or to be able to do something with it that obviously that nobody else can do.

SPEAKER_03:

When you said that, I think that's a good one. Because if she can bring the dead back, then why not? She could probably heal somebody.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, yeah. Cellular regeneration, it'd be, you know, it's something she'd be able to do at that point. Yeah. If her powers allowed her to, you know? Especially because if she's gonna be the only one.

SPEAKER_03:

If you want to tie it into the boys at this point, if she could. Like Gen B, the first season ended with Homelander showing up.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and Butcher, remember, he goes to the to the he ends up in the woods at the very end for a second. You can see him. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

He's like, uh So uh Gen season one, I I thought it was just a little Easter egg. Yeah. But then in the boys, uh Starlight makes an appearance. Starlight makes an appearance in the in the in the beginning of season two, but then in the boys, the virus had a lot of the virus that was trying to be used to kill all those soups was created in Gen V. And then she tried to they they keep on working that plot line in the boys.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, because the governor, remember, she ends up like taking the the chemical or whatever, whatever, and that's how it all ends up tying.

SPEAKER_03:

So now I think Jim now I think Jen B is just another season of the boys, just with a different set of characters.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, it it ties in that well to it, bro. The fact that uh John Carlos Esposito came in, yeah, and uh Victoria's daughter. Yeah, she came in, and again they they mentioned that. Oh, my mom met you, or your powers are really similar. So again, even then they have that bond kinship already.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm like, oh bro, she's already uh a leg in. Now now he's really tied into it, bro. Like now it feels like one universe.

SPEAKER_02:

But my thing is it she would probably be the only one. She's the replacement of the hip hopper, yeah. You know what I'm saying? She's she's the next level of that. If there was a version to stop Homelander, this would definitely be.

SPEAKER_03:

And I bet you she's eventually gonna do something like that.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, she has to do something crazy, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

Like pop some heads.

SPEAKER_02:

So I'm excited for that, though. But Gen V. So we're excited the season finale is getting ready to come out in the next couple weeks. A few weeks. One more thing we gotta talk about that uh just came back.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, speaking of powers or quirks. That's a good one. Damn it, that was a smooth blinker and everything. Anyway, my hero academia. What do you see on that timer right there, bro?

SPEAKER_02:

A lot, 25. 25, 25, 26.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, we we we we got five minutes. Yeah, five minutes. Yeah, it's only two episodes. Anyway.

SPEAKER_02:

Now for a lesson, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

I am here. Because I am here. Here's my thing. Last season.

SPEAKER_02:

It ends with that basically.

SPEAKER_03:

But last season there were so many episodes, like there was so much going on last season because this is the final war. Yeah, there's uh there's a battle over here, there's a battle over here, you got Gunga side, you got the hospital side, you got the island side, and of course the the coffin in the sky. Correct. There's so many battles that watching it week to week, I was kind of like, okay, I'm gonna just let it build up because this shit is so good. So I let it build up, and then I just didn't catch up with it. Same. Like I never I I was gonna wait for the English episodes to drop. Yep. So I was like, okay, I'll eventually watch it. And then the new season came out, and I just binge. Like, I had like maybe six or eight episodes. Yeah, same. The last thing that I watched was when Shoto beat Dabby the first time, and then he came back.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, Deku showing up was the last thing I remember. Deku shows up.

SPEAKER_03:

Deku shows up. Yeah, Deku shows up. That was the last thing I've ever seen. That's that's I think that's I was I was right there. Yep. And then Bakugo quote unquote died, but not really. Right. Best genius. Yeah, but then so much happens after that.

SPEAKER_01:

Dog, that's number how did I put this down? So much. So much beat, dog. So much big.

SPEAKER_03:

They got the the Joji episode with the heteromorphs, so that takes like three episodes. Like all the people that don't look like humans because powers messes them up. That's a good storyline. It was a good storyline, but then the one that was actually so peak was fucking Ochako and I can't say that. Toga. I mean, the shit, bro. I was like, I still want to know you. Bro.

SPEAKER_04:

But they like love, like I feel like that she like had a crush on her or something.

SPEAKER_03:

She well, she like she loved her. She develops like likes for like she falls in love easily with what she likes. Okay. So she gets hyperfixated, I guess.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, so she was hyper-fixated now, taco cham.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yeah, I guess you could call it that if you could like give it like a real world comparison.

SPEAKER_04:

That makes sense because she was like an assassin, is assassin-ish villain, right? Like her power was like she can copy mimic your face.

SPEAKER_03:

If she drinks your blood. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

But she was like an assassin.

SPEAKER_03:

And then her power evolves to like she could even like copy quirk.

SPEAKER_02:

That's right, that's right.

SPEAKER_03:

So she she copies uh twice as quirk.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, it only works, remember, because she can't use Shigaraki's power. She can't use Shigaraki's in somebody else's, but it's because she doesn't have a true level of love for them.

SPEAKER_03:

That's what she loved in the episode. Yeah, that she by the way of her bringing that back, whenever she goes like what is it? Sadman death parade. Because he's only dead, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

That was so fucking dope, dog.

SPEAKER_03:

She goes like that legion.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm like, and that was my thing. That power by itself is so OP, bro, it's broken. Yeah, you would win anywhere. There's no way. I don't care how many bullets you got. Clipping yourself over and over and over. It's game over. And that was it. They knew if they couldn't take out twice his ability, they'd be fucked. Yeah. And you know what? That's exactly what Hots had to take him out back then. He was still a fucking now, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

It was so important for Hawks to take him out. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

You know, and it was such a bastard when he did it too, bro. You felt so bad for him. You're like, bro, why? It was a game. Strategically, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, he was the Omega level for sure. And you see it in the episode, it's like Omega level, you're right.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, Omega level for sure.

SPEAKER_03:

She's turning the title of the war or the battle. Yes, with that one quirk, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

With that one quirk, yeah. That's it. And it wasn't even the original. That's what I'm saying. If it was the real guy, if it was him, yeah, probably even worse.

SPEAKER_03:

But anyway, and then the Chaka's power evolving, bro. That's when I was like, oh fuck, let's go.

SPEAKER_01:

She's just like everybody float.

SPEAKER_03:

Everybody's like, you didn't touch me, and she's just everybody starts floating. It's like everybody that was touching each other starts floating, so the whole Legion starts floating and just everyone is up in the air. And you're like, you see, like the pink. Yeah, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

It's so fuego, dog. It was so fuego.

SPEAKER_03:

I can't believe I had to watch today.

SPEAKER_02:

Same thing I thought. I was like, well, at least the English stuff are out. But uh, but no, man, season two, or the final season, right, is out right now.

SPEAKER_03:

The first episode Oh, by the way, like the the second to last episode of the last season is when All Might like rage baits him. Yeah, Iron Man.

SPEAKER_01:

With the armor suit, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Iron suit, the current uh armor all might, but then I think on the internet it goes your name is Iron Might. I like that. But no, no, no, no, I think the official is Armor All Might, but I Iron Might is a community. It's like I am a I gotta show my face. Oh shit. Like, you're not gonna be able to ignore me. No, no, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

And then he just everybody's ability that he uses too, he's just like, Let me your strength class today, bro.

SPEAKER_01:

I was like, how am I still getting pumped when you know he's gonna die, bro?

SPEAKER_02:

You know he's not gonna make it, bro.

SPEAKER_01:

He's not gonna die.

SPEAKER_02:

Bro, okay, okay, okay, okay. So, real quick, the fact that he uses everybody's fucking ability. He uses what is it? Deku's fucking his shoot style. His shoot style. He uses uh Pinky's fucking acid. The acid, right?

SPEAKER_03:

He uses everybody. Tailman, tentacle, he uses laser navel. Dude, everything, man. He uses the engine to uh to accelerate. Yes, dog. Even the waves from the motto for the ice.

SPEAKER_01:

Everything, dog.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, so it's a little homeboy. We never talked about a little homeboy, was a traitor. The little Oh, the belly dude, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

But look at me, shine, brother. He showed up in that last one, though, dog. I mean, the fact and then the invisible chick has her moment.

SPEAKER_03:

Naval legs. Command, bro. Like double, triple angle.

SPEAKER_02:

Absolutely, bro. For some reason, double cheeked up on a Tuesday night for no reason.

SPEAKER_04:

You can't even see it. Not even.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm pretty sure.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and even though she's like, Yummit! Yeah, but it's great. But again, you're like, wow, and that's what she's doing.

SPEAKER_03:

I love it that even some of the side characters get their moment to shake it.

SPEAKER_02:

They genuinely do.

SPEAKER_03:

Or a movie, one or the other died. No, it's gonna be it's supposed to be a final season, and it's gonna be broken up into two parts. So it's probably gonna run 24 episodes. Or I'm not sure, don't give me a start lying to you. But last season was broken up into two parts, and it was 20 something episodes.

SPEAKER_02:

I I'm excited for it. It's been ecstatic. The fact that Stain shows up at the end of that first episode, and I was like, yo, I I never saw it coming. Never saw it coming, but the fact that All Might's put up such a good fight.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, and then on that second episode, I haven't finished that second episode.

SPEAKER_02:

I haven't even started it yet, but I know it's like that he covered it up.

SPEAKER_03:

I already saw a scene on there that I'm like, oh brother, peak. Peak? I don't know how people can say my hero is not peak, bro. I don't know how many. You gotta wait to see the ending.

SPEAKER_02:

Don't put the fries in the bag, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

Sometimes I start watching it and I'm like, eh, you know, maybe it's not as good. But then I start watching it again. It's like, bro, storytelling peak, bro. Dead Dead Stain says Do it all my let's go, bro. I was so ready. Actually, uh Shoto at the end of the last season going and stopping Davy because David was about to explode or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And the whole family's there.

SPEAKER_02:

The whole crew shows up. Don't worry about it. We got you, fam.

SPEAKER_03:

And then fucking Ida and Shoto turning into a fighter jet. Like, yeah, bro. Literally, fighter jet. They just went supersonic or like faster than the speed of sound and light. Yeah, dude. Like, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

I love it. Fire. It's been an amazing series to be a good thing.

SPEAKER_03:

And speaking of quirk evolutions, that's what's crazy. Like, I think he she one of the reporters breaks it down when they're watching the Ochaka fight. It's like, this is the uh the quirk doomsday theory. The quirks are gonna go uh eventually gonna evolve. Destroy the world evolved so strong that they're not gonna be unstoppable. You think he's talking about the multiply quirk? But in reality, we're talking about a Chaco quirk that has evolved so far that she could float like everything.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. Damn, I didn't think about that one.

SPEAKER_03:

So that's the quirk evolution, like all the quirks have evolved so far.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, that theory is that eventually, okay, where's it gonna stop for her power? You know, if this is where she's at as a teenager. Yeah, you know?

SPEAKER_03:

Fuck, don't let her get 30 years, bro. You think her quirk is like not that useful? But hey, she's also like mega level.

SPEAKER_02:

Right, bro. If she was in construction, you would never need a permit for that.

SPEAKER_03:

That was her original goal. Yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_02:

Again, full circle. So I'd like to stay tuned for the whole season. That's right. You know what? Sugi, what'd you think? It's your homeland. I do want to know what you think.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh no. It looks like our time is up.

SPEAKER_03:

By the way, I bought uh Fira XWare's uh my hero academia suit. It's badass. Shout out to Fira XWare.
