But yeah, guys, comic Palooza is coming up. Go get your tickets now Last day to buy Hayden Christensen tickets. But you'll never see this. By the time you see it, it's already too late too late if you guys didn't get it already.

Speaker 2:

Today was the last day to get the hayden's ultimate experience yes hopefully you got it.

Speaker 1:

Hopefully you got your tickets buy your photo.

Speaker 2:

You can still buy photos for saturday and sunday up till friday? I believe yes I believe, correct. But other than that, guys, we are looking forward to it, we're excited and speaking of great fathers, you think, and anakin skywalker was a great hands down, great dad- all he ever wanted to do was bring his family together.

Speaker 1:

If you go back to our star wars episode from season one it was great. I give my whole spiel on that, bro. Like he just wanted padme and luke together the whole time and I'm sorry, leia leia, leia and luke.

Speaker 2:

He just wanted them together, even when he was being seduced into the dark side. He only wanted to save Padme, to save the kid.

Speaker 1:

That's it. That was it. He's like I'm just worried about my younglings. Well, those Like man.

Speaker 3:

If I remember correctly, they lied to him that nothing survived, not even the baby survived. I remember that they lied to him, right, they lied to him, they told him because not even, Not even Sidious knew that the offspring survived.

Speaker 2:

You know what? Look here's another thing. The only one I knew was Obi-Wan Vader never had to tell Luke that he was his father.

Speaker 1:

You know he took that moment to be like hey, by the way, I was your pops, Because he could have just cut off his hand and never said shit, bro. But he's like and even in episode six, bro, they're walking side by sideakin. He's just like anakin is no longer here. He's like the hope is long gone, long gone.

Speaker 3:

He's like my father really is dead. Yeah, you know, actually I even start to remember, like I know this is vader talking, but in return of the jedi, when luke turns himself into the empire, yes, uh, he gives him kudos like oh, I'm so proud of you, you yeah, because this is yourself.

Speaker 2:

It's become so strong, no one one taught you this.

Speaker 3:

You did it yourself. You know you talk to your kid or nephew. You did it. I'm so proud Wow.

Speaker 2:

It's great. That's true, because I imagine like thinking to when Anakin trained.

Speaker 3:

he had a master and, like the whole temple, jedi, yeah it's true, bro, bro had the whole thing, bro had Harvard Full ride.

Speaker 2:

Full ride at the temple, literally like the best, like the best.

Speaker 3:

Jedi was literally your teacher. You know, vader even had leia. You were the council at 15.

Speaker 1:

He never harmed leia, he had her the whole time she, he let her escape. Basically, damn near, damn near well, he didn't know I don't think up to the end.

Speaker 2:

Did vader know about leia? I would only find out at the end of uh empire. I think it's you know.

Speaker 1:

You're a liar and a traitor to the Empire. Well later on they end up showing that like they can feel each other. Remember, he said I can feel him, I can sense it, I can sense it. So I'm like there had to be the same thing with Leia, bro. I just refuse to believe that it was all.

Speaker 2:

Once he became a Force ghost I'm he had a connection to them.

Speaker 3:

To Luke, yeah. I imagine Luke became master. So by then he was there to talk to his dad Like hey, yeah, I was wilding. It was crazy, bro, but look, your mom made me do this.

Speaker 2:

You should have knocked off a few more times your mom at Nauvoo the dress that she would wear she's telling me not wink, wink come over.

Speaker 1:

You should have seen the dress your mom was wearing when that bitch had a breakup with me. I almost beat the hell out of her?

Speaker 2:

Ain't that boo in you know type of clothes? Yeah, she had no business wearing it.

Speaker 1:

No reason and she's like Anakin, this isn't going to work your life.

Speaker 3:

The light's there, why are we drinking Right?

Speaker 1:

What happened to all the layers back when you were a queen.

Speaker 2:

She's like yeah, it's just hot right now, though we're on the boot. Sorry, no, I'm sorry. Well, that makes sense. We're thinking weird things.

Speaker 3:

Anyway, you can wear whatever you want ladies, that's how I met your mother. You know what? Real quick.

Speaker 1:

I am going to take a second man just to give a quick shout out from my father's day. She made this for me. I don't know if you can see it, bam.

Speaker 3:

Get closer.

Speaker 1:

It's Bonham. No, it's too much, Claire.

Speaker 3:

It's Bonham. It's Bon Clay, it's Bonham.

Speaker 1:

And it's my favorite One.

Speaker 2:

Piece character.

Speaker 1:

It's really cool.

Speaker 2:

She did a good job.

Speaker 1:

She's 12. For me, that was a big deal, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2:

That's my shout out. Connected to being a father, there is a there is a character that is great.

Speaker 3:

You know, it's a famous.

Speaker 1:

The one piece oh, he's the only good dad in one piece, but one piece is actually a bad example for dads. Well, I'm alive, like there's a lot of like missing fathers in one piece, bro a lot of look, there's even a moment where shanks is like telling his crew. He's like luffy's out there and bro yasab's like oh shit. And he's like we're not gonna meet him yet though. He's like whoo out there and bro yasab's like oh shit.

Speaker 3:

And he's like we're not gonna meet him yet, though he's like I bought his own kid.

Speaker 1:

He's just. You know, since day one he's like I'll, I'll be a dad to anybody else. Uh, what was his name? Momo bro, come here, I'll toss the ball with you.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying luffy's dad is in shanks's crew no, no, no oh, that's another example luffy's dad, like he's gone 100 who's dad? They make a. They make a joke.

Speaker 3:

They make a joke because like Luffy's father is like a major, strong character that like waves his pinky and a storm appears, but every time he's like in great danger, like he's like, oh, my son's about to die, but anyway, you know like it's crazy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he had one moment, bro, where he saved him in the log town. That was the only moment. That was the only moment where he was a dad.

Speaker 3:

Like years later, episodes later, you're like no, that was Luffy's dad that saved him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you don't even find that this is like decades later. Goldie Rogers, terrible father, never there, just gone.

Speaker 3:

But wouldn't that?

Speaker 2:

be a father too, one A Luffy's brother per se. It's complex. I thought they were actual brothers.

Speaker 3:

I thought we were like Great Sabo was a terrible son, because Sabo's parents were like Wait, I thought Sabo was the third brother.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, and no, yes and no. That's why you gotta watch it. That's why they have the three brothers.

Speaker 2:

Now you know the game.

Speaker 1:

The game now makes sense. I've been knowing all these characters.

Speaker 2:

From just playing the One Piece card.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but good. The homegirl that got shot with the tangerine. She was an adopted mom, right.

Speaker 2:

Yes, that was an adopted mom. I watched the first 50 episodes Odin.

Speaker 1:

Odin, fantastic father. You know what I'm saying. Corazon, corazon, fantastic father, fantastic father, one of my favorite dads of One Piece.

Speaker 3:

That's right, besides Odin.

Speaker 1:

No, Cor is later on.

Speaker 3:

Well, it's like themes, that, that, that, uh, that what makes the great father at one piece like. I'm putting a good example of corazon like. Because corazon like, I always wonder like. Why is corazon like so, remember, revered? Because he plays a brother of a major villain, but one of the things that he does that his brother has is his evil brother is, straight up, lacks everything sympathy, empathy. His brother is the opposite side of the coin, which is he embraces all sympathy and empathy to that person.

Speaker 3:

Like one major character within suffered a lot. He's hometown when the entire town poisoned his people, his even sister burnt alive and like and like the other thing, he's this character hardened up where, like he didn't really cry, you know or really process what happened. But then this father figure, corazon, which was so endearing, is like cries for him, like you're not able to cry, so I, as your father, will cry, like shows, like even your father will carry every burden for you, and one piece plays writes that very well. Which is a great about that character quote I saw in the plays that father and traffic is so confused by that character.

Speaker 1:

By that emotional side he's like what the fuck are you doing? Bro like stop, he's like no kid, you just don't get it.

Speaker 3:

And everything after that point.

Speaker 1:

Everything after that point he does for him. Like it goes from like oh, you think he's trying to be a dick to him, you think he's trying to do this, you think he's trying to do that? Nah, bro, if anything, he helps him out from beginning to the end, and the reason why law is the baddest that he is today is because of core, and he finally sheds his tears after core's death that's the first time we hear him cry or whatever, and it's such a big moment, dude, like and uh, right before core's death he's like I love you, kid.

Speaker 1:

He just wanted to see him smile one last time, bro, before he knew he was gonna die.

Speaker 3:

And like something that he didn't have was like a family. Um, so, because the main reason is, like one of these characters, why they step up to be fathers, because most of them didn't have that. Like, I'm bringing it back around to move on to the next, you know, character white beard is the one that streams. He's, everybody has a goal king of the pirates. I want treasure, I want money, I want glory. So, when it comes to this guy who is a world-level threat, I'm talking about where, like, the entire Marines have to get together to stop this colossal giant, one guy. He says the only thing I ever wanted was a family and that's why a lot of people call him father, you know, because he resembles that. Even so, where, like, a character will damage him or hurt him, like a father, instead of, you know, expect anger, you know, and I can't believe you hurt your father, betray him like the father so strong and he's like I love you, son.

Speaker 1:

I know you made a mistake yeah, he's like you, stupid boy, come here and he embraces the guy that just stabbed him, bro, and it's in that moment that he's like pops you know it wasn't like a facade, it's not just an image Like he genuinely cares about and every one of those lost children of the sea is his son.

Speaker 3:

That's right.

Speaker 2:

It's because you have to put that trauma in all these stories, you know.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Because there's a lot of trauma that can be brought out from a father-kid relationship. Yeah, father-son relationship, Absolutely man Whether it be a missing father or trying to prove yourself to your father, or you know doing wrong and you know prodigal son story. Coming back to your parents, yeah, yeah um, and in anime, in japanese culture, it's like a big thing as well yeah, even here, like in the us, like a good example.

Speaker 3:

Like I, beforei even get to the my favorite dc character, I one I randomly read about was about superman, and I know he has his own kid. You know he becomes, you know, super dad. But there's a story with Shazam where Shazam is pretty much just a child, you know who's given like these godlike superpowers, but this child's an orphan. So, like I remember, I saw that there's a comic where, like Shazam sees his own friend die, snaps, crashes out, and Superman has to come and stop because Reasonable crash.

Speaker 2:

I think, yeah, reasonable yeah exactly Exactly.

Speaker 3:

But Superman didn't understand what was going on until Shazam reveals that he's just a kid. Not only a kid, but he's an orphan. Not only is he an orphan, he just lost his only brother that he's ever had. And then here comes Superman, stepping up not only the role of mentor, but of of, you know, pretty much a father figure. You know, yeah, yeah, and I ring up superman because it's always leads to the guy that adopts, you know, lost children that, just like mark mentioned batman bro, he's another example of a of a father.

Speaker 3:

But he puts them in like gunfire here. Here are these tights you're my new robin, but I don't want to be a good fight In the comics eventually he has his own son.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, damon, damon.

Speaker 1:

Wildcat.

Speaker 2:

Which becomes the Fort Robin.

Speaker 1:

The most violent, the most violent Robin. Like him and Red Hood like oh, I get it bro, I get it bro. Like 100%, they get each other.

Speaker 2:

Because it's Jason Todd Nightwing. He's the third or the fourth Robin.

Speaker 3:

Oh, brother, we have the one that died. Oh well, that's.

Speaker 2:

Jason Todd. Yeah, it's Jason.

Speaker 1:

Todd. But yeah, no, he's like the fourth Robin, I think.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

But I do want to mention best anime to have the best father figures. I'm going to say it right now. Y'all can challenge me if y'all want DBZ, bro, Dragon Ball Z has the best father figures. I think there's only one in there, though there's four as a matter of fact Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Great dads.

Speaker 2:

Vegeta had a rough start.

Speaker 1:

We don't see much of Krillin as a dad Bro, but you know he's always there for and GT and GT. He's a big ass, sim, he actually got the job. He did get the job. He's a cop.

Speaker 3:

He could be a Z fighter. Now working reading a paper with Bulma. What is he going to teach his girl? Not to get a job.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, bro, you know what?

Speaker 2:

Because you know 18 ain't working bro.

Speaker 3:

He got an actual she doing. She's a stay-at-home mom, so I wasn't programmed for this shit, krillin?

Speaker 1:

I wasn't programmed for this shit, but uh, yeah, no for me, krillin, like I said, he's always there for his daughter mary, right from what it seems like, even whenever uh trunk future trunks comes back and he's like mary, she's like daddy and he's like, oh, who's your wife?

Speaker 2:

he's like, oh, hang on, I'll give it to you, yeah, yeah, that was a cool moment, right vegeta, finally, finally, ends up like dog in super and he's going to fucking music parts with Trunks. Vegeta's the one that we see doing the most dad stuff.

Speaker 1:

Even when it comes to Bulma, he's like I can't leave my wife, bro, she's pregnant.

Speaker 2:

I can't just leave her. Yeah, I got to see the birth of my second daughter.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got what else? And Gohan. Gohan does anything for Pan, anything for Pan.

Speaker 3:

He's always dedicated to his studies, but he's a dad. Remember that tournament she got whooped, bro, and like didn't save her.

Speaker 1:

Yeah that's Fidel, I'm talking about Pan. I didn't say husband. If that's the case, him and Goku are on the same plane.

Speaker 2:

We're talking about dads here, not daddies, I wanted to say Goku even puts we're talking about dads here, not daddy but uh boma's dad.

Speaker 3:

He's a good dad. Yeah, boma dad always present, always there whenever you need him that's right always supporting all the resources, like all her, like right there, yeah all the research and stuff yeah, for sure absolutely, but that's what.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying I'm like, oh um, chi Chi's dad, ox, ox King, the Ox King always there to wish it.

Speaker 1:

He's like one of the. Og characters that's still around. Stayed as a as a background character that's true, 100%.

Speaker 3:

That's exactly what he did. I didn't even think about that, like his castle burned and he just stayed there forever. It's crazy. Where is he going to fucking go?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, he blasted it, asshole, it's a fucking plane. Now, bro, it's just a flat plane.

Speaker 2:

He's one of those characters that he came from. A crazy ass like backstory. Random ass story. I think he just lives in the city now. Yeah glasses and shit. She ain't shit.

Speaker 3:

For a farmer, it's just crazy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah bro Random random.

Speaker 2:

I didn't think Randy's dad of all time.

Speaker 1:

Mr Hercules, Mr Satan no.

Speaker 2:

Piccolo. Piccolo, hands down, is the best dad ever. The dad's a step up, sacrificed himself so many times for Gohan. Always Aura farming.

Speaker 1:

Trained him 100%. A Always comes in at the last second to get his ass whooped, just to buy enough time for somebody else to sit with him.

Speaker 2:

He taught Gohan how to aura farm too, he did. Damn he did bro, you're not even wrong Gohan's poses and shit All that shit is all Piccolo's, just the cape flowing in the air Bro.

Speaker 3:

I always loved Gohan and Piccolo's gear. I always loved it.

Speaker 1:

He looked better than that orange shit. The fit is crazy.

Speaker 3:

The armor like everything bro.

Speaker 2:

Even Piccolo doing the fit for the driver license.

Speaker 1:

Sorry, oh no, but his fucking yeah, the craziest fit that's actually going to be like in Sparking Zero. They're going to make that an outfit change.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, the driver's license fit, the driver's license fit. I was like bro, we've never gotten those in anything.

Speaker 2:

They're like Gohan's disability. Who bought this clothes? Your wife?

Speaker 1:

you know what I'll give it to goku? At the very bottom. He's still there, but he's at the bottom of the totem pole because, again, like he sacrificed himself for, like every birth person, human, every child, every child on earth, every child in the universe, I mean, he stepped up, that's true, his kids still love him.

Speaker 2:

It's not like his kids are like oh my dad was never there. His kids still love him. And you see, even gohan, as a grown-up he still respects his dad a lot.

Speaker 1:

Except Goten. Goten was like I heard my dad was great. He came back and was like oh, I have a son, god, that shit's crazy bro, surprisingly, frieza's dad Freezer's that Cooler.

Speaker 3:

No, king Cole. King Cole, because he came back to him, fixed him up, patched him up, yeah, made him make a Freezer.

Speaker 2:

He's like who hurt my boy.

Speaker 3:

Which one of you motherfuckers?

Speaker 1:

did it. That is true, I'll give it to him. King Cole did try to run the fade.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Win, lose or draw. Homie Run that fade.

Speaker 3:

He got ran what the fuck if frieza was a problem.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, dead ass trying to skim through super saiyan and just cut him. Just cut him, or or farming on that one anyway, um, but yeah, no, uh.

Speaker 1:

Those are my, my great shout outs to people in dragon ball you know who's a bad stepdad is? Uh, master roshi. He's all about ass and titties, bro, and like they look at him as like a real like a good grandpa.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's a good dirty grandpa.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's Unc.

Speaker 2:

I would never leave him around Pan bro, I would never leave him. He's not meant to be a father figure.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you're right, that is Unc More than anything else, at 200 years old, he's Unc. But what about you guys? Any more?

Speaker 3:

The guy from Demon Slayer, the guy that suffers disease. He's the main guy, he's blind.

Speaker 1:

The one who adopted all the Hashira yeah and they all look to him like a fire figure.

Speaker 2:

I don't think he's cute. I mean he'd think scary man.

Speaker 1:

I'll say honorable mention.

Speaker 2:

He has the ability. It's like that's part of his ability, if he has the ability to make you feel better.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right.

Speaker 2:

That is his fucking power. Yeah, like he literally, like he literally makes you feel better he sacrifices daughters in that explosion that's what I'm saying. He's not. That would have been a good example you know what?

Speaker 1:

the dad from Full Metal Alchemist who turned his daughter into the chimera oh my god why would you even bring that up? Why would you even bring that up? What happened?

Speaker 2:

that's why, bro, bad dad, you even bring that up Happy Father's Day.

Speaker 1:

What happened, father?

Speaker 2:

That's why, bro, bad dad I was going to bring up not anime but Arcane. That's in Arcane.

Speaker 3:

Jakes', stepdad Jakes' stepdad Silco.

Speaker 2:

Silco I think he was about to sacrifice everything for Jakes.

Speaker 1:

For the world. I was about to say he was about to sacrifice he for her.

Speaker 2:

He was going to give up the dream of Sal becoming independent. Not to give up just for her bro in the end she shot him and he still don't worry about it. It's cool, he did the whole thing just like Wumpies.

Speaker 3:

Just like Wumpies. That's exactly it. He's like don't even you know. Yes, just like Wampy. Just like Wampy's earlier. Yes, you're right, that's exactly it. That's exactly what happened.

Speaker 2:

He's like don't even.

Speaker 3:

Look man, you're just a goofy kid. I love you Should have.

Speaker 2:

He still died, yeah, but I get that reasoning.

Speaker 3:

I like that moment.

Speaker 2:

I forgot the name of the other dad.

Speaker 1:

Warwick, the new Warwick.

Speaker 3:

I forgot his name. I hope they'll change his name.

Speaker 2:

Silke has that moment at the end of the season in that final episode where he's talking to the statue of the Warwick guy. He's like. You were right. She is my witness. She's the only thing that will break us. Now I understand why you gave up everything to protect the kids that you adopted. Which were the kids of their. I guess they had a best friend that died in the bridge.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2:

When we get to backstory in season two yeah, the one that fell right, the one that fell the one that had the purple hair? Yeah, and that's why they have blue and pink hair for whatever you know jeans.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, damn Great dads, great dads. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's my any honorable mentions. You guys got anybody else to mention in?

Speaker 2:

there, I was gonna mention All Might. I think he's a great dad to all class 1A okay, I like that.

Speaker 3:

No, I agree 100%. I love that All Might of him he's all about the next generation.

Speaker 2:
