Speaker 2Come get us. We didn't bring this from.
Speaker 1Japan. You're not supposed to bring that much edibles from Japan.
Speaker 3But guess what we're about to find out, ladies and gentlemen, so you know, japanese is known for kimonos, samurais, geishas and the war crimes they did in China, but specifically the Kit Kats, and this is what we're here for. So we're going to be trying out. We got the pussy flavor For sure, your regular. I don't know what these are, but gold, but you'll try them. So go ahead, try each Pick one there's an orange flavor. One Pick one.
Speaker 2Are we just going to blind?
Speaker 1it, blind it bro, go raw dog it. I kind of want the orange one.
Speaker 2There's two of each. You're not going to try one.
Speaker 1Yeah, I the orange one. Oh, I got this black one.
Speaker 3There's two of each.
Speaker 1You're not going to try one.
Speaker 3Yeah, I could try one. I'll take the regular one.
Speaker 1I got the orange with chocolate swirl.
Speaker 3And then the cool part of these is, if you follow the instructions inside a bag, they become origamis. I'm just kidding, it's a joke, can?
Speaker 1you imagine, but they would. Oh, and from these I can make a crane.
Speaker 2First off, that would be awesome. Secondly, this tastes almost like a s'more bro.
Speaker 3S'more. Yeah, okay, it tastes like an orange.
Speaker 1It tastes like an orange.
Speaker 3Yeah, no, no, no Well look at the other one.
Speaker 2I should have saved some for you, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1He said there were two in each bag, sir.
Speaker 2Well, I wasn't listening, obviously, as you can tell, never does. You can hear all the smacking in the background. That's me and your mom so you know we're making cook up stuff, so yeah, guys, no clue.
Speaker 3Oh, the regular one, I think.
Speaker 2It really does taste like orange. It's so fucking cool you know what's crazy?
Speaker 1This tastes like a Kit Kat without too much sugar. Tastes like a sugarless Kit Kat. But this is regular flavor, regular flavor, Sugar free, huh.
Speaker 3So yeah, guys, and the reason we're bringing this Japanese stuff because over the summer, Tico, and a big shout out to Tico on this one.
Speaker 1Oski the summer. Tico and a big shout out to Tico on this one. Oski, thank you very much. I got my new name. I think a personality.
Speaker 2The artist formerly known as Tico. The artist formerly known as Tico. Jesus, can you hear us?
Speaker 3It was the audience, bro, so I shimmed down, calm down, got us into Anime Missouri 2024. Man, man, man.
Speaker 2Big props to us.
Speaker 3Three major panels, One, of course Anime versus Hentai. What R-rated edition.
Speaker 2That's not what happened, what that panel was. He was in a different panel.
Speaker 3The second one is, of course, with our friends and a big shout-out to Iridescent the Blaze Brothers. Shout-out Blaze Brothers. Shoutcent the Blaze Brothers, shout out Blaze Brothers shout out Blaze Brothers, shout out Blaze Brothers. And of course, we'll do another episode with them and, of course, how to start a podcast three panels in three days. At Anime Missouri 2024, we had a pretty a big shout out to Tico Elski in the mix, in the mix to say the least.
Speaker 1this was this past weekend. We had a pretty busy weekend. We usually don't do that many panels, but it was fun. It was a lot of fun. Let's see what flavor we got. Is this the Sakura flavor?
Speaker 3Sakura flavor. It tastes like Naruto's tears.
Speaker 1It tastes like.
Speaker 3Right, the Japanese did it down to a science Crazy. Try it.
Speaker 2Say what you want. I saw I brought two.
Speaker 3God damn, it's this one, crazy they got it down. If y'all don't know look, you got to admit.
Speaker 2You want to educate yourself? God damn, you got to admit, bro, you're trying to. You want to educate yourself? God damn, it's a pink one boy.
Speaker 1This is no sponsorship but, brother, I really like the second one.
Speaker 3I'm going to bring out more. I brought another one. There's another one here if y'all want to try it.
Speaker 1You need to try it too, yeah bro, no, no, no, please, please, please.
Speaker 3I brought this for y'all, but it's Japanese. So, bro, please, I brought this for y'all. But there's also the green tea one I don't know what the gold one is and of course, we'll try these throughout the episode.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, yeah, throughout the episode. All right cool, goddamn I love.
Speaker 3How you surprised me.
Speaker 1No, you really meant Well, slight tart Fingers on the tongue. It was at the George Shep Brown and we're pretty familiar with the George Shep.
Speaker 2Brown that bitch upside down.
Speaker 1We've been stuck in an elevator, just like I know you.
Speaker 2Hell yeah, we did get stuck in an elevator buddy. Not this time, though. That was previous episode.
Speaker 1It was a lot of fun. We got to talk to a lot of people, a lot of people, some of our fans, some of our old fans, some of our new fans. We're still looking for a word for our fans, wbmers, the bangers. I don't know, I like that.
Speaker 2I like how he paused. We just froze for a second. We were hanging on to his word. I hate that shit Damn it.
Speaker 1I felt like we glitched. Yeah, we did it's this Kit Kat. Anyways, we made a lot of Of our bangers. Are we gonna go with the W bangers.
Speaker 3So far, so good. That's all I know. If you guys have a preference, there you go.
Debate on Western Animation vs Anime
Speaker 1We got to talk to a lot of people. Our first panel was actually the real name of the panel Western Animation vs Japanese Anime.
Speaker 3Basically.
Speaker 1US cartoons vs anime. This one always sparks a lot of debate. Surprisingly, there were so many people standing up for US cartoons. I don't know if it was the Olympics or what but like the crowd stood up, they said Teenage Ninja, mutant Ninja, turtles.
Speaker 2USA USA.
Speaker 1I mean, they went out swinging. I heard an eagle screech in the background. What's the voice?
Speaker 3actor for Bugs Bunny I heard somebody play and I'm proud to be in America. Well at least I know I heard somebody play and I'm proud to be an American. Well, at least I know I heard it in the back as soon as I said Gundam did it better.
Speaker 1somebody stood up for Transformers, it was. But no, there was a lot of debate and we always bring up the good points. Oh my goodness, people were talking so much crap about the Suicide Squad Isekai.
Speaker 3Oh, that's right.
Speaker 1Not when I stood on business squad is a guy I still say suicide, suicide squad is a guy is peak, y'all need to watch it japanese harley quinn goes hard.
Speaker 2Yep, so I'll die on that hill. Our boy, jeremy g, also voices uh, rick flagg and english stuff.
Speaker 1Yeah, he had to freaking go up there and fight for these and from sentai film works and, uh, he's a friend of the show, so we love suicide squad. He's got yeah, man, and apparently a lot of people had a lot to say about it. They did everybody.
Speaker 3I was like that's a friend of the show, so we love suicide squad east guy.
Speaker 1Yeah, man, and apparently a lot of people had a lot to say about it they did everybody.
Speaker 2I was like that's a great attempt.
Speaker 1You know that was a.
Speaker 2That was a heel I had to die on yes, he went out swinging on that one, but we brought up a bunch of great takes and we appreciate all the fans that came out and supported us and and interacted and had two cents to give but, like I said, america was repping out there strong we. We really thought Japan had it in the bag. Everybody's like bro, y'all slept on a lot of people. Y'all are forgetting a lot of things that y'all are mentioning.
Speaker 1Y'all slept on some stuff. I'm like bruh, and somebody came up with a really deep take that we're like. Well, it's because you're naturally going to like something that you're not exposed to, obviously growing up in the usa yeah you're, you know what you watch is normal to you, and then something different, of course, is going to be, since the difference is going to be more um. Exciting for you, yes, but I'm like I'm an immigrant, so us cartoons are new to me too.
Speaker 1That's what I'm saying but they're not wrong though like, but I'm not gonna die on that here yeah, the us does more live action. I've seen Chavo de Lucho in Mexico. Yeah yeah, mexican cartoons are a whole other stuff. We might add that portion to the next panel.
Speaker 3Yeah, talk about.
Speaker 1Mexican cartoons.
Speaker 2Love that, but no, it's true, though, like Japan does animes before they do a live action variation of their anime. So we go based off. They have to go based off of. Is there anime? So how do?
Speaker 3you, you talk the anime right versus the live action.
Speaker 2When they do an animation version over here in the us. It's not the same. The live action is normally always better absolutely you know, no, you know what.
Speaker 3And also it was like, also like the abilities that what they both could do and how they complement each other were like the us has capabilities of like doing crazy, fusion, fast, exciting animation, but they choose pixar because it's cheaper, more economic and, like you get it out faster, like the movie's done within four or five months. I imagine that's a cultural thing in the US, where I want my hotcakes and I want them now, while it's like in Japan they apologize, like hey, bro, I'm over the late 10 years, but it's worth it. Of course we cooked. Of course this is an exception for Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse. They are probably doing the Japanese style harder, taking their time.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, I'm glad you know that's something we didn't bring up in the panel the Spider-Verse movies.
Speaker 3Yeah definitely.
Speaker 1I mean, but the Spider-Verse movies are really influenced by anime. Yeah, A lot of people said that. A lot of people said like, well, some of the cartoons you're bringing up are being influenced by anime. And then you were like, well, some of the anime you're bringing up is being American style cartoons.
Speaker 3Yeah, bro.
Speaker 1Absolutely. You know that's a street that goes both ways.
Speaker 3Yeah, man, absolutely, and that was part of the. It was like a gag, as always, just like this podcast. You know, don't take us too serious. You know, what do we know?
Speaker 2Speaking of don't take us too serious.
Speaker 3Say it, say it, I fuck feet, what do?
Speaker 2I know.
Speaker 1Just so you know, that panel was raised in Amphimature that's right we're gonna post the full panel on our YouTube channel and also probably on Spotify next week, so look out for that.
Speaker 2That's right. Check me go on my fucking rant about Sony and how they fucked up with the universe facts. I went in on that shit.
Speaker 1The X-Men timeline? Yeah, how Fox messed up the X-Men timeline.
Speaker 2Fox just fucked everything up.
Speaker 3Yeah, man, there was no structure, there was no like how to connect them, you know.
Speaker 2Nothing. I mean, they just wasted it Again. The timelines got smushed together and then, within 20 years, these guys turned from great-looking men to old-ass people in wheelchairs. Decrepit old men of. Yeah, you know the. What was gonna happen with, uh, professor x? Nothing ever happened with that. Yeah, blade trinity finished cliffhanger. Nothing ever happened with that. The uh, the second fantastic four galactic was shown so we're still alive.
Speaker 1Nothing happened with that I was actually kind of cool, you know, like I would have said something crazy and just nothing fucking, not even electric.
Speaker 2Had something daredevil. Got a spinoff movie from the cameo that was made in there.
Speaker 1I always forget Elektra had her own movie, yeah.
Speaker 2And just nothing. I mean just Fox dropped the ball on so many levels with their cinematic universe, but it was weird they were doing just individual movies and never a universe. I feel like that really wasn't brought into the fold until later. But anyway, Let it go bro.
Speaker 3That and much more.
Speaker 2And so much more.
Speaker 1Check out the full panel.
Speaker 3But that was our first night.
Speaker 2That was our first night. Yes, yes, it was. What else happened, boys? Oh, we also got a chance to do another panel with our friends, the Blaze Brothers yes, Iridescent Manga Special screening on Friday night.
Speaker 1We've known the Blaze Brothers for a while.
Speaker 3Shout out to the Blaze Brothers. Shout out to Simon and Pedro, simon and Pedro.
Speaker 1They're the creators of the manga. They're the mangakas themselves. Yes, they are. One is the artist, the other one is the writer, yep, and it's their very own manga that they created themselves. They're independent mangakas and it's an audio manga. So they actually have voice actors that have come in and recorded lines for the manga and they were showing off what's basically a motion comic animation with the voice actor recordings in the background, and I think it was one of the first times they showed off the final product. So it was the whole chapter one.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1It's really good man, Absolutely. So it was the whole chapter one. Yeah, it's really good man.
Speaker 3Absolutely, absolutely. Like the amount of time and effort it takes, like I imagine it's like staying up late, the drawing, the process, the connecting the dots, going back, does it make sense? And the most, the most. I imagine like one of the most difficult part, cause it's like I know you guys do it. None of you guys have like reaching out to events and all Talking to my good co-host here, but because I see it from you guys, I imagine how difficult I can. I see how difficult it is to, like you know, asking to open the right doors. You know it's like, hey, you know the voice acting, hey the music, hey the editing, who can do it better? You know what if it crashes? You know, I know it's all family and friends, but you know I know it's difficult and it was a great project, how large is. Because I see what you guys, you know how much effort you guys put in and also you can see, like man, you've seen the capabilities of what they can do and what the possibilities out there.
Speaker 2You know yeah, man, a big shout out to great inspiration. I mean, it really is. It's two brothers that were just making stick figures in class.
Speaker 1Two brothers In class Drawing stick figures All the way from Costa Rica.
Speaker 3Went suddenly.
Speaker 2And now they have amazing American voice actors voicing their product.
Speaker 1They have some big names in there they do.
Speaker 2They have Zeno, they have Ray Chase.
Speaker 1They have a lot of people and we got a lot of sneak peeks of things out there it was great, and some new up and coming talent too, yeah man, yeah man.
Speaker 3So definitely check that out. Check out, K. I cannot wait to Volume 1 is available now. And soon Volume 2.
Speaker 1Yes, you can get the manga. You can always find them at all local events in Texas over. They're all over the place in texas. Yes, obviously they're houston locals, that's right, but you can find them on just about any con in texas. You can also get your signed copy yeah, their volume from etsy that's right, if you tell them you came from wbm, they'll sign it for you.
Speaker 3Yeah they will. If you use code wbm12345, you get an error message, so make sure you check that out yeah, go get your message now you
Speaker 1still get the free autograph, that's right, that still works.
Speaker 2But uh, yeah, man, like I said, we had a great time sitting down with them talking about their story. They I took that joke an air joke oh, but you know, it was actually also really fun, was um? We got a chance to get more about them. We got sneak peeks, brand new takes and things that had never been seen before so that was really awesome.
Speaker 1Absolutely, yeah, they have a lot of footage of the voice actors themselves, so that was a cool video that I put together.
Speaker 2Yeah, the thank you video for them.
Speaker 1That was awesome you have a teaser of chapter two or volume two. They have teaser volume two in there and what you get to see? A little bit of the voice acting for volume two. So they're already recorded lines for volume two, which means that they're like progressing still the way the story goes, it's fire.
Speaker 2The way they kick off volume two, man. It's like it comes with. They kick off volume two, man.
Speaker 1It's like it comes with a with a bang Cause volume one, volume one it's kind of in the middle of a cliffhanger, so like seems like it's going to kick right out the way. I know we got a teaser because we supported the Kickstarter, so it just action from the beginning and um and yeah.
Speaker 3And that was our Friday. Right, that was Friday, yeah, and then Saturday.
Speaker 1Oh, saturday we had one more panel. We did the basic classroom session how to start a podcast 101. That's right.
Speaker 2Nice.

Speaker 2Anyway, would you hug my wiener Ask?
Speaker 1me about my wiener.
Speaker 2Anyway, so yeah, so how did that go? It went great, man yeah.
Speaker 1It's just a class I've been to. We've been to a lot of how to Start a Podcast.
Speaker 2We have.
Speaker 1And it always like struck me kind of odd that how to Start a Podcast. They don't tell you how to start a podcast. They don't tell you how to start a podcast, they just give you like funny stories and anecdotes about how they got started yeah, which?
Speaker 2of?
Speaker 1course I incorporate, we incorporate into our panel, uh, but I decided to make the panel more from the educational trip where I give you equipment, microphones to use, headsets to use software, to use editing tips and much more. And, of course, I tell you about how we got started, our humble origins and funny stories. Funny anecdotes you guys may like it's usually a treatment panel, but this one I had to raw dog it by myself.
Speaker 2Yeah, how'd that go? It was meta.
Speaker 1Yeah, but it was good.
Speaker 2How is that one? As a matter of fact, it's not good.
Speaker 1Oh, no, that's terrible.
Speaker 2They're not all wet.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 2Now I have to eat it, just like I did with mom. You know, when somebody's like oh, this tastes terrible, do you want to try it? The worst thing is.
Speaker 1I have to swallow it Sorry.
Speaker 3I can't, I don't like it. That's funny, do you like it.
Speaker 1Maybe it's just meat. I don't know what that is.
Speaker 3What is it? What was it? Is it mochi or was it like green tea? I think it was like green tea.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was like green tea. It's got a bitter aftertaste.
Speaker 3Okay, so it's not all night winters.
Speaker 2That's why I kept chewing it. I was like where is it? I can feel it, it's in there.
Speaker 3You got more of the God's one.
Speaker 2We'll save that for the end, Of course. Dessert for last.
Speaker 3So how many people were there? Like, was anybody interacting? Anybody ask questions?
Speaker 1Oh yeah, there was someone in the front row that he had his own podcast that he did Nice. It was, you know, not a big podcast. He had a podcast that he did, I think, for three years and he picked up. He was basically my ta oh word, basically my teacher's assistant for the class, and so he he had a lot of input to say so. Thankfully I forgot his name. I don't think he gave me his name.
Speaker 3Big shout out. But big shout out to the cosplayer in the first row that uh nice thanks for being ta for the day oh
Speaker 2um thank you for being you thank you for being you and then when you call my name.
Speaker 3We don't have the right for that one.
Speaker 1Thank you sorry, uh, now. Yeah, I mean just just a bunch of people asking questions about how to be a podcaster nice how long the thing lasted for basic panel 45 minutes 45 minutes, yeah, just like all the panels
Speaker 2yeah, yeah, but I mean, I think our funnest one, I think, was probably with iridescent, though, right, right.
Speaker 1Yeah, I had a lot of fun Thursday night.
Speaker 2I'm not going to lie, it was a lot of fun. You know, thursday night was a hell of a lot of fun.
Speaker 1You know it was Thursday night, it was 9.30 pm. I honestly thought nobody was going to show up. Bro, we had a crowd that showed up the fact that like I remember a three-year volunteer came forward and he was like hey man, you guys got a line for me outside. What do you want me to let him in? I'm like let the line run, bro.
Speaker 2Well, first off, we're like wait, wait, wait, there's a line Because nobody was showing up At first. We were nervous. We're like bro, it's two minutes until showtime. Well, boys, I guess this is how we go down.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's a very short story, but I was like, well, I had like a drink, I had two drinks, I'm not going to lie, but I drank a lot of water. So, like mid-conversation, I couldn't hold it, man, and I was like, man, I need a good exit form. And thank God somebody brought up Steins Gate. Oh God, I was like I don't know if it was anything.
Speaker 3You got this I can't, but that was great. It was a good little, a little funny moment within that that, like I think that they were all human, but it was fun, man, because like seeing people like hey, where's people lining up? I was like for who? What are you going to watch?
Speaker 1Yeah, like I walked up to the restroom and was like hey, what are you guys waiting for?
Speaker 2Oh, more titty, you know it's definitely show more cleavage yeah no, that was fun.
Speaker 1That was fun and a lot of people came on to us after the show, thursday night yeah, man, thanks to the anime dojo, I believe your guys are named no, the anime podcast.
Speaker 2All right, right, the anime podcast or the anime dojo anime dojo podcast. Dojo, apologize, guys yes, um with chad and dion that's right, that's exactly who was.
Speaker 1Shout out, shout out, we're gonna. We're going to post that full episode out there. Yes, so some of your hot takes that came in the panel, you'll have them on there. We'll leave all the hot takes at the end, because at the end I opened it up for the floor.
Speaker 3Yeah, man.
Speaker 1There was one guy that was telling us about a US cartoon that said HBO Max. He said that they had they're fighting tentacles. No, he said that they had they're fighting tentacles. No, he said they're fighting plants or something.
Speaker 3Oh, fungus, is there tentacles yeah?
Speaker 1And then you know he's like no fungus and you're like fucking. That's what it was.
Speaker 2That's what it was Sex. I was like no Fucking, we're like what Fungus? No, bro, fungi. Oh, we're definitely going to check out that show though I guess I'll check it out.
Speaker 1Fungi that's one of those moments where you have to be there, so hopefully it comes off on the panel next week, yeah man. The iridescent panel, of course, was a lot of fun.
Speaker 2The guys are always great.
Speaker 1I mean we love the Blaze Brothers. We had them on the show, we had them on a full episode here on our podcast.
Speaker 3That's right yo.
Speaker 1If you look through our past episodes, just look for the Iridescent. Just look up that word and you should be able to find it in our past episodes.
Speaker 2That was an episode from last year, so you might have to go back Season 3. We got to start numbering these things.
Speaker 3Anyway, it's called the Iridescent Human Spirit.
Speaker 2Yes, that's right, the Iridescent Human Spirit.
Speaker 3Go check that episode out.
Speaker 2Yeah, man, it was fun, but that was pretty much the con for the most part right Bro.
Speaker 3I think my theory is cool. I think my theory is cool. Yeah, man, I mean I like it a lot.
Speaker 2I don't mean to really cool I like the way the setup is on this one like the way they have the show so much for everything is really nice. And then they have like the exclusive stuff in a different area, and then they have that godzilla stuff was cool exhibit he go show me they had the original costume.
Speaker 3Yeah, props, it's the godzilla. And there was a dude there who used to draw the gazilla posters in the 80s and 90s, right yes, well, he's still.
Speaker 1He's still an illustrator over at toho. He still illustrates a lot of Godzilla stuff like the animation and the manga. The animation and the manga.
Speaker 3Yeah, homura's there bro.
Speaker 1He does live drawings, man. It's crazy to see how he draws Godzilla for nothing, you know.
Speaker 2Damn dude. How do you see that?
Speaker 1He starts with a few lines and you're like I don't see where this is going and next thing you know.
Speaker 3You see that he starts with a few lines and you're like I don't see where this is going. And next thing, you know, you see Godzilla, oh, he's doing the blast.
Speaker 1I'm talking about in like seconds, Like in two minutes. It's like all these like super detailed Godzilla drawings.
Speaker 2Yeah, he's like, and it's down here like masterpiece, just for drawing it so much.
Speaker 3I'm picturing the SpongeBob episode where he's like so how do you draw a perfect circle? First you draw this picture and then you erase some details, and then you erase some more details. Before you know it, it's a perfect circle.
Speaker 2It's a perfect circle yeah. He starts off with like a masterpiece, yeah, and then he erases from there.
Anime Matsuri Recap and Highlights
Speaker 1That's crazy, no, no no, that's pretty cool man. I mean that they got some screenings and they brought in some of the Japanese creators like for Mecha Ude.
Speaker 2Mecha Ude.
Speaker 1Mechanical Arms, which is coming out in October. They got the producer for the anime and one of the illustrators from the anime as well, and it's really cool to hear from the actual Japanese creators my dear friend Nokotan for that one too.
Speaker 3The one that's a brain, rob, but it's hilarious, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, girl. Uh, it's pretty hilarious. Yeah Uh, they had some cosplayers doing the characters from the show on that Saturday. Oh, that's funny, but again it was like the producer for the anime and then there starting life in another world as a loner. That's a really long name, that one's going to be on high dive, it's cheaper than a cup of coffee, I think it's starting life in another world as a loner starting life for a second chance in another world.
Speaker 1Something, something, something loner, something something, something but basically he's going to take the easy guy, as he's going to try to be a loner, but of course he's going to take the Isekai, as he's going to try to be a loner, but of course he's going to build a giant harem, a hell of a squad, and everybody's going to know who he is. I do like that these Isekai animes are like starting to be self-aware. So the character in the anime knows that he's going to be Isekai and he knows the tropes of Isekai.
Speaker 1So he uses the tropes against he uses, drops against it, like in this case. Like he gets isekai with the whole class and he didn't want to be isekai because the whole truck hit the class he's like I don't want to be this guy, fuck this, I would have to deal with everybody in the class. So he tries to run away and he doesn't make it out. Of course he gets isekai, but he gets isekai last and everybody had already picked their abilities. So he gets all the bunch of like random abilities that nobody picked and ensue chaos yeah uh, the first episode was actually pretty cool, so check that out on high dive.
Speaker 1But uh, again, the japanese producer and what's it called? I'm a loner starting life in another world as an is guy loner something, something, something.
Speaker 2Don't believe us, add us in the comments I'm excited about mecca, the animation looked wild. The story looked really really cool.
Speaker 1The characters were dope that one's gonna be on crunchyroll in october, yeah like the trailer, for that was really dope.
Speaker 2Uh, it's out there on youtube.
Speaker 1Go check it out now if you guys haven't seen it so I like that they're bringing out like I really like this trend that's coming up, where they're bringing out the actual Japanese creators that were to the States.
Speaker 1And Anime Otsu is not the only one that's done it. Some of the other cons have actually brought the Japanese creators to the States. Anime Otsu did it last year with some of the Blue Lock producer and illustrators, so I see traders um. So I see another cons do it as well. Tokyo x, tokyo x for the voice actors, uh, from from some of the japanese shows. The voice actress for nami, that's right from one piece.
Speaker 2So I really like that trying to bring in the japanese actual uh creators yeah, here in the us man, to me that's such a a bigger deal, you know, because it's official japanese brand, like coming to the states to talk about the product, the thing you know that's really influenced people.
Speaker 1This is mint ice cream ice cream.
Speaker 2I do. This is totally ice cream, this is ice cream this is.
Speaker 1This is ice cream. Yeah, this is pretty straightforward. No surprise there no surprise there it has a picture on it, so not disappointing really very ice creamy but yeah, guys, I am at Tsuri 2024.
Speaker 3I had a lot of fun. The food was delicious. You know, one thing that I don't say enough is about the food trucks. They had a lot of variety there that year. I just want to know if my good old omagagi fries and I love them the formula's still good, the food's still good. If it ain't, don't fix it Friday and everything.
Speaker 1There's a Asahi beer garden out there, ah yeah, asahi, I forgot to bring my Asahi is that how you pronounce it?
Speaker 2yeah, dry beer, but I love it don't like how we say it, I really like Asahi yeah, it's a really good Japanese beer ladies and gentlemen, that has pretty much been our anime Matsuri guys is that the segway right there? Oh, real quick. I do want to mention the Teslas that they had. Were sick as fuck, right Like the rap Teslas with the condoms. Oh man, they had a little rap Itachas they had a lot of Itachas, oh my.
Speaker 1God, it's a condom they had a bunch of condoms yeah, I bought a Mexican poncho with Dragon Ball.

We're finally getting to go to a lot of cons, but I can't not buy something that's con. They'll get you man. Ooh, they had a red light, they had a I don't know what they call it they had an 18 plus section with all these 18 plus benders.
Speaker 1Annie Cruz that does the hentai fest. She had a table inside that section.
Speaker 2Really.
Speaker 1Was her name Annie Cruz.
Speaker 2Yeah, annie Cruz Dang, she's a local.
Speaker 1She hosted Hentai Fest. She hosted it last year.
Speaker 2And she was hosted again this year.
Speaker 1And she was there with one other porn star I cannot remember her name, but Annie Cruz. She had a table and people would go up to her and she'll tell you all about her experience.
Speaker 2Nice.
